Introduction | Hello, my name is Cindy of Pywackit Primitives. Art has been a long standing tradition in my family. My mother was a great inspiration to me as she was the most wonderful artist that I have ever known. So I grew up enamored of every art form. I have always loved to draw and paint and create. I love pretty things and truly enjoy creating from my heart. I have enjoyed sewing since my grandmother gave me my very first toy Singer sewing machine as a child. I would play for hours making doll clothes from scraps of fabric. I started seriously making dolls for my daughter when she was a child and when other people started seeing her treasures they wanted to buy them. Then shortly after that I moved on to art dolls. The primitive folk art style really got me hooked. There is something so comforting about bringing those characters to life. Each one takes on a very unique personality. I have met so many wonderful and kind people through my art. I am so thankful to all of my wonderful customers for encouraging me with their appreciation of my creations. I feel truly blessed. |
