Introduction | My Grandmother was an artist and painted beautiful landscapes and stills. When she died, all of her children and grandchildren gathered for her first true showing. In order of oldest to youngest we picked out paintings of hers until they were gone. I was lucky enough to inherit three. That is when I new I wanted to paint. I was 21. It wasn't until ten years later that I tried. I had to quit my job and stay home with my new baby boy because he had severe food allergies and still does. Dairy, Egg and Nuts. Dairy being the worst. I try to look at it as a blessing in disguise because I feel no guilt for staying home with both of my babies, a girl two years later, and watching them grow. Also allowing me do something else that I love, Paint. |
