| Introduction | I was born and raised in Boston into a family of African-American artists. I create art because I am compelled to, like breathing, it is essential to my life. I am continuously intrigued by how things are put together. I enjoy slowing my mind down to contemplate the mysteries of life. My artwork helps me to be more centered, patient, to appreciate the miracles of nature, my talents and respect my limitations. Like a chef, I select each ingredient to complement and bring out the best in the others. Sharing these gifts is my contribution to uplifting the world.
