| Introduction | My interest in family history started back in 1979 with a High School History project. I have casually collected information ever since. However, it was the death of my Grandmother in 2006 and the discovery of her photo albums, which made me realise the importance of asking the questions now and preserving memories for future generations. I am currently studying for a Certificate in Genealogical Studies (National Institute for Genealogical Studies) and a Certificate in Genealogical Research (Society of Australian Genealogists). At present there does not seem to be enough time to do my research justice so when I retire from my full time job in Finance, I intend on pursing my hobby further. |
