Introduction I am a self-proclaimed raconteur, bibliophile, and lover of life, God, and people.
Interests my husband (Joe), our dogs (Ariel and Molly), belly dancing, reading/writing, intelligent discourse, laughing, exploring, travel, advocating for year-long Christmas trees, showering others with love and blessings, creatively wasting time, solving the world's problems, analyzing people and life to the point of insanity, talking, good friends, reading, pontificating, meeting fun/interesting people, music (listening to it and playing it), sleeping, excercising, globe-trotting, inspiring sonnets, saving the world, using post-it notes...and, most importantly, JESUS!
Favorite Movies My aboslute, all-time favorite movie: The A&E/BBC production of Pride and Prejudice, starring Colin Firth. I am a Masterpiece Theater junkie. Other favorites: So I Married an Axe Murderer, The Fisher King, The End of the Spear, Nanny McPhee, Harry Potter movies, Gandhi, Chariots of Fire, Sense and Sensibility, Emma, Clueless, Gone with the Wind, Sabrina, Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Avonlea, Lord of the Rings, You've Got Mail, Star Wars (all 6 of them, but "Empire Strikes Back" is my favorite--and love the 3rd one where Darth goes all existential and angsty), the Indiana Jones movies, and many more.
Favorite Music Christian, Classical, Jazz, Alternative, 80s (because I am old!), some country, folksy accoustic stuff like Dar Williams and the Indigo Girls, and old school mellow like James Taylor. I like tons of music...it's hard to summarize.
Favorite Books The Bible, Everything by C.S. Lewis (favorite: "'Til We Have Faces") and Jane Austen ("Pride and Prejudice"). Mr Darcy is my dream man. I adore Harry Potter and all things Dallas Willard and John Wesley. T.S. Elliot rocks my world. I generally read theology, philosophy, psychology and deep, inspiring, well-written fiction.

If your whole body were a hot air balloon, would you stop eating spicy food?

Seriously, I need to get a job writing questions for this site! You gotta have spice in your life...so let the winds blow where they may, I would keep eating my Thai food with extra peppers.
