| Introduction | Hi, my name is Kim. For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in the big questions of life. My journey has included the formal study of literature and philosophy (B.A.), and psychology (M.S.), and many Eastern and Western modalities for over 25 years, including martial arts training. This Zen Life began in 2005 as a chronicle of my study of Zen Buddhism. The blog continued for about two years before coming to a natural end. However, some entries made their way into a book entitled Buddhism for Mothers of Young Children, published by Allyn & Unwin in 2007. I've written other blogs since then, but have washed the slate clean and begun this new project in 2014 to write about personal growth.
