| Introduction | I am Rev. James Likens. I first portrayed Julius in 2002 at Village Lutheran Church, Ladue, MO. In 2006 I again portrayed Julius for the Family Shield Ministries annual fund raising dinner. Since those first presentations, Julius has become an important part of my life. In all of my ministry, both in the parish and media, I don't know if I have ever done anything that has the impact of Julius on the audience. Partners in Urban Ministry, a local St. Louis organization made up of 28 congregations, has adopted Julius. Tax free donations for my ministry can be sent to them with Julius in the memo line.
