Zoë lectures in the School of Design at the University of Technology Sydney where she runs a research studio investigating the evolution of books in the digital age, and collaborations between writers and designers. Zoë's doctoral thesis examined hybrid novels – novels in which graphic devices such as photographs, drawings, and experimental typography are integrated into the written text (or, books with pictures in them).
