Introduction I am an artist who loves to connect with other creative individuals. I also like to freak out on people who don't get their pets fixed and be a stubborn redhead whenever the mood strikes me. But generally I'm sweet as a lamb ;P
Interests Art, photography, reading, video games, polymer clay, graphic design, my dogs, living happily ever after, traveling a lot, NYC, sushi, pork—especially bacon, baking perfect banana bread, annoying conservatives, annoying liberals (see, I'm fair and objective, hee hee), collecting paper but never using it, having flying dreams... ok, I'll stop. I have too many interests.
Favorite Movies All pirate movies (yes, I liked them all before the Johnny Depp stuff, though that didn't hurt. What can I say? I'm a dork, ) Zombie movies (I'm not that picky but I really like 28 Days Later, Shaun of the Dead and Fido), Iron Man, SERENITY, Southland Tales, 300, Pan's Labyrinth, Children of Men, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (brilliant and no one saw it!), The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, The World's Fastest Indian, Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, Princess Bride, Wasabi, Six Stringed Samurai, Kung Fu Hustle, early Robert Rodriguez movies (forgive me, I mean everything except the kid movies), Rushmore, Life Aquatic, Bottle Rocket, The Royal Tennenbaums, or anything else by Wes Anderson, Kevin Smith movies, everything by Hayao Miyasaki, High Fidelity, all the Indiana Jones, Empire Strikes Back (the only SW worth a damn), Boondock Saints, Kung Fu movies (especially the ones with really bad wire work. Oh wait, that's all kung-fu movies), Spaceballs, Ice Pirates, Blade Runner, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Donnie Darko, Time Bandits, Ong Bak and almost everything else Luc Besson touches, Garden State, Raising Arizona, and everything by the Cohen brothers, HellBoy, The Jerk, Amelie and old Buster Keaton movies.
Favorite Music I have terrible taste so I tend to leave my radio on my local public radio station
Favorite Books The Master and Margarita, Still Life With Woodpecker (and everything else by Tom Robbins), The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Confederacy of Dunces, Jane Eyre, Cheese Monkeys, Ender's Game, anything by George Saunders, Neil Gaiman, Salman Rushdie, Harlan Ellison, Bruce Sterling, Chuck Palahniuk, William Gibson, Haruki Murakami, John Irving, David Sedaris, Augusten Burroughs, Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, Nick Hornby, Graham Greene, David Foster Wallace, or Pablo Neruda... the list keeps going and going. It's read or die for me.
