| Introduction | I knew when I started classes at the Atlanta College of Art in the Interior Design program about ten years ago that I had found what I was meant to do. After a long day at work in a law firm, I was happy to stay up late working on design projects. I loved designing floor plans, drafting, rendering and creating blue prints, selecting fabrics and materials, and putting together project boards. Belle Francaise Interiors was born in my business practices class many years ago. I had visions of traveling to Europe to buy merchandise for my imaginary store. Now my dream is a reality (except for the trips to Europe) and the perfect creative outlet. I still work at the law firm, but my nights and weekends are happily spent pouring over design inspirations and searching for unique items for my shoppe in DuPre's Antique Market in Marietta, Georgia. |
