Favorite Books I can not innumerate all of the he books which have enriched my life; they range from “The Torah” to “Catcher In The Rye” from, “Slaughterhouse Five” to “The Iliad”; my taste in authors range from, Flannery O'Connor to Chaucer. All that I ask is that an author have something to say and that he or she uses the language well. (An excellent example would be two resent work by a “Facebook” friend of mine, Jennifer Finney Boylan; “She's Not There: a Life in Two Genders”, and “I'm Looking Through You: Growing Up Haunted”.)
