| Introduction | I live with my faithful husband Tim in a rural community in west central Illinois. I have had the fortunate experience of giving birth to 7 daughters ranging in age from 10 to 27. I homeschool our five younger children and a niece and am the director for a Classical Conversations. Recently I was a Weight Watchers leader. In the past I have been a legal secretary, a weekend traveling actor, a teacher for summer and/or specialty classes for elementary children, a scrapbooking consultant, a data collection associate, a Sunday School substitute teacher for every age level, a science workshop leader, a volunteer to build houses in Mexico, a pro-life marcher in Washington, D.C., a waitress and fast-food cook, a grocery store clerk/carry-out, and a babysitter. Which parts should impress you? Not one thing. Just be warned that I'm likely to talk about anything! Although the opinions, thoughts, and topic choices of this blog are basically mine, you should consider yourself to be center stage. Together we will look at topics and habits that touch your family. Once in awhile I will even throw in a helpful or funny tidbit. I hope you will be both encouraged and challenged. |
