| Introduction | We are Stacey Molinaro, Arielle Perry, and Jessica Schoenberger. We are graduate students at the University of New England in the social work program. This project is for a class assignment designed to help us learn about using technology and the internet as a tool for advocacy and activism. We have chosen the topic of homelessness in belief that the population should be encouraged to make changes in their lives to help get them back on their feet. We want to advocate for programs which help them make those changes instead of simply offering temporary solutions. We hope that you find new information through this blog and are inspired to advocate on behalf of this population and join the effort in creating and sustaining preventative and long term solutions for those who suffer from the world of homelessness. |
