Introduction	I am a graduate student at UCSB in their Teacher Education Program. I hope to have completed an SST teaching credential in Social Science and an M.Ed. by the end of summer 2012. Before that I was a youth worker at a church in Ventura, CA. My undergrad was at Westmont College with a degree in music and a minor in history. I want to be both physically and mentally fit and work hard to continually learn new things and exercise. A few interesting facts about me: I ran a marathon, I was on a soap opera in the 1980s, I have a twin brother.
Interests	Various music styles, fitness, popular science, Biblical studies (both secular and theological), superheroes.
Favorite Movies	Star Wars (eps IV-VI), Army of Darkness, Primer, The Adventures of Baron Munchasen, Serenity, any Edgar Wright movie, Singing in the Rain, 1776, most of Kevin Smith's films.
Favorite Music	Hector Berlioz, Pietro Mascagni, John Adams, Steve Reich, Sufjan Stevens, The Mountain Goats, Mumford and Sons, Cat Stevens, The Beatles, Led Zepplin, Charles Mingus, The Pogues, The Dropkick Murphys, John Coltrane.
Favorite Books	The Myth of the Rational Voter, Ender's Game, A Brief History of Time, The Language of God, Pirates! and Their Adventures With Scientists, I Robot, The Sirens of Titan, Freakonomics, comicbooks.
