| Introduction | I’m a career switcher. For over 20 years I worked in the area of language education and after having my first child, Sofía, I decided that instead of teaching someone else’s child how to speak Spanish or English, I would dedicate myself to teaching my own. I couldn’t be happier! I’m married to the BEST man in the world and we have 2 twin gatos, Nacho and Fulanito, who think they are Sofía’s big brothers. Aside from my family, language-learning is my passion. I’m zealous about it- I preach it, I dance it, I sing it; I live it. La Mother Tongue is my medium to share the joys and challenges of being a new parent as well as to share how we make a conscious effort in our daily life to bring baby up bilingual. |
