Introduction Hi, and welcome to my blog! I'm a former Bay Area woman, now living in Oregon, doing my best to live a compassionate, authentic life. This blog follows my adventures in marriage, family, career, and personal and spiritual development. I like to analyze! ...but try and keep a sense of humor. This started out as a ttc blog; after stepping away for a while, I jumped back on the train and re-focused on donor embryo and adoption. Then, life threw a curve ball at the end of 2017, and I reconnected with an old friend who became my fiancee on NYE 2018. We were married a little over three months later, but we put the cart before the horse by going through two IVF transfers before we tied the knot. We are now pregnant from the second transfer and can't wait to meet our baby girl in October 2019! *Update: Ellie turned onelast month and is walking now! Our lives have completely transformed, and I can’t imagine living without her. Getting back to my career counseling work and establishing ourselves in Oregon.

You can punch a hole in an apple using a straw. How do you think that makes your milkshake feel?

What's your favorite ice cream flavor? Depends on my mood. Chocolate chip mint or Rocky Road are favorites. Amended - Life has dealt a cruel blow and I am now allergic to dairy. :( I like the occasional pastry or decadent chocolate cake.
