| Introduction | I am a middle-aged suburban housewife with four kids and a husband, two dogs and a cat who has trouble figuring out what the litter box is for. I probably have waaaay too much time on my hands. Actually, in updating this, the cat is gone, and most of the kids have moved out, but we still have all of their stuff, so it is a good thing that we have a big house. Also, I have become a Grandmother! |
| Interests | Comic books, Mysteries, Jane Austen, Elizabeth Peters, and reading just about anything...The Moody Blues and Bruce Springsteen, Decorating, Art and the Daily Show. Oh, and Tony Stewart is a God. We have also recently discovered that camping is a heck of a lot of fun, but none of that tent stuff. I only believe in camping in as much luxury as possible, which is why a motor home is the way to go! We go to Limerock for the sportscar races and to the various musters for the Fife and Drum corps, and we do love it so. |
| Favorite Movies | Hopscotch, All the Horatio Hornblower movies from A&E, Pride & Prejudice, also from A&E, NOT that crappy new one. A New Leaf, anything with Zorro, and The Incredibles. I have to add that the new Marvel comic book movies have been pretty much fabulous, and that Tom Hiddleston as Loki is my new favorite movie character. |
| Favorite Music | Classical, Folk music, Springsteen, Orbison, Moody Blues, Dire Straits, Jimmy Buffet, Joan Baez and the Everly Brothers. Also Coldplay. Whodathunk? |
| Favorite Books | Anything by Georgette Heyer, Elizabeth Peters, Dorothy Sayers, Josephine Tey, Florence King or Alastair Maclean. I also read a ton of non-fiction about the Civil war and British history. |
