Introduction I'm a twenty-something girl living just outside of Boston. Husbando and I are trying to enjoy newly-wedded life as well as make in through cohabitation (and basically coexisting) in one piece. Lucky for both of us, we're able to look back on even the worst situations and find something to make us laugh. We love eating, travel and adventure, and watching trashy TV. I love all things crafty, baking, traveling, running when I'm not being lazy, and Captain Morgan. Welcome to the blog!
Interests reading, scrapbooking, photography, cross stitching, sewing (badly, and with my mom's machine), knitting, kayaking, running (I make myself, but it's a habit and I'm interested enough to get Runner's World!), swimming
Favorite Movies I love so many movies I don't think they'd fit. I love movies about Africa: Out of Africa, Nowhere in Africa, The Flame Trees of Thika, The English Patient, The Heat of the Sun. I love historic movies, sad and tragic movies, romantic comedies, and just plain stupidly funny movies. As for TV shows I like Lost, Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, The First 48, Animal Cops (Houston is a fav, I'm kind of loving Philadelphia, NY is badass as always...I'll watch any of them though), Project Runway, America's Next Top Model, Gossip Girl, The Amazing Race, I Shouldn't Be Alive (it's awesome), What Not to Wear, and The Vicar of Dibley (hilarious), The Office.
Favorite Music I'll lean back and relax to Mozart's Clarinet Concerto in A Major, but I'll sing Kanye's part in "Goldigger" and Nick Cannon's part in "Gigolo" with gusto when Jam and I are roadtripping. I like everything in between too. Favorites? Rilo Kiley, A Fine Frenzy, The Killers, The Beatles, Kate Havnevik, Brandi Carlile, Kanye West, M.I.A.
Favorite Books Poisonwood Bible, Prodigal Summer, Year of Wonders, No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency Series, about a billion others...

You can whistle and steam can whistle, so why do you sing in the shower?

Because the sound of the water drowns out my horrendous lack of musical skill!!
