Introduction | I'm a self-employed bookkeeper and mother of one born and raised in Minnesota, although I've lived in quite a few places in the US. The moniker "1912 Suffragette" came about because of my interests - my 1912 Foursquare house; my interest in women in politics and because someone born in 1912 would have been wearing the vintage clothes I want to create. I sew because I have such a hard time finding decent-looking clothes in my size which is tall and extra large. I've just come back to it after a hiatus of several years raising my son and starting my own business. Now I want some time for myself and sewing vintage clothes fits the bill. |
