| Introduction | I'm pretty easy going until people get stupid- then I'm a real pain in the ass. I don't like cable television, don't like pop culture, don't like big box retailers or fast food. I don't like plastic. I'm more of a glass and wood and stone kind of guy- maybe a little metal- wrought iron, not Motley Crüe (though I'd dig hanging out on some stone and glass and jamming some Motorhead for a bit.) I like things that are made by hand with care and love. I think cottage industry was the heart and soul of the nation and we're giving it away, trading it off to the chinese for a fast buck. Sad. I believe you should show up at a place with your mouth closed and your ears and mind open, get an idea of how things lay out and how people do things around a given place and learn from them. Diversity is fantastic- beautiful- makes life worth living. I have a wicked sense of mischief and a big heart. And for better or for worse, I sincerely love and appreciate the Big Island, the good and the bad, the people and the land and the vog and the huge long flat spells when even a 6" wave would give everyone a little relief.
