| Introduction | This blog is a collection of thoughts posted by a group of Irish people involved in healthcare. Currently we are a combination of doctors and nurses, but we're hoping to expand. We're interested in geting across a wide range of people's ideas about healthcare. As there are several authors on this site, a brief rundown on each one of us can be found below: 1) Dr. Thunder is a paediatric registrar. Like the other authors, he's Irish. He'd been working in the UK for the last few years, until he made the break for the antipodes last september (2007). He spent some time enjoying the New zealand health service, and is now working in a large neonatal ICU in Australia. 2) Ain't no angel is a nurse in a urology department in a large Dublin hospital.
