| Introduction | Ellen. La Pure Mama... Mamamia of the Sheen Family Northwest, yep! This blog is my ever so valliant attempt to share interesting thoughts, recipes and ideas in hopes to inspire and make you smile. I love to be creative in the kitchen; sometimes they're flops and sometimes they're not... either way, my husband is very tolerant of my experimental cooking. I always know I've got a winner when I hear, 'ooh, did you write this one down?' Hopefully you will find some winners too :) And maybe I'll share some of the flops... just for fun! I'd love for you to tag my blog and visit often; I'll make sure to have something interesting to read or cook :) |
| Interests | Family, gardening, running and other various types of exercise, cooking!!!, baking, wine and all things wine, making forts, playing games, racing down the hallway, friends, a good book, being creative in the kitchen, finger painting, movie night, homemade pizza, sunshine, laughing, dinner parties, feeling loved. |
| Favorite Movies | Favorite movies depend on when we're watching and with whom we're watching. As a family, we love both Madagascar movies, Meet the Robinsons, Horton Hears a Who, Cars and my alltime fave, Ratatouille; that being said, we really don't watch a lot of television. We're very into building forts, playing board games and racing down the hallway (see 'interests') |

When you hesitate before hitting snooze on your alarm clock, are you being lazy?
The snooze alarm is lame but I do sometimes fond myself rolling over and giving it a swift whack. Then I'm awake so one side of me says 'stay in bed for the next 9 minutes until it goes off again'. And the other part of me says 'hellooo... you HAVE to get up in 9 minutes so you may as well get up now!' This side is usually the winner... maybe that says something about my personality.
