| Interests | I love to work in the yard, reading, writing, painting, antiques, vintage stuff intrigues me there is always something new to learn from something old, Cooking from scratch, family history, exploring all of Texas&Oklahoma, Love old fabric and linens from the 1940's and 1950's, would decorate all the time if my hubby would let me keep moving the furniture around, he likes his chair where it sits, I just keep finding new ways to move it :), adore old childrens books, old scrapbooks, learning to scrapbook, can't get enough of the beach, also enjoy fishing, camping, swimming, I use to ride horses, love babies and animals, bird watching in my own backyard, I joined Shelfari.com, vintage clothing, barkcloth and other vintage fabrics, 40's jewelry, the colors red, white, and blue, also love old pottery, unique handcrafted items, holiday collectibles |
| Favorite Movies | old fashioned G-Rated movies, vintage hollywood like the kind that were Made for family, John Wayne Movies, I like old Western Movies and T.V. shows.The two movies with Desi Arnez and Lucille Ball, The Human Comedy, Some of the older musicals from the forty's and, Mr.Smith Goes To Washington with Jimmy Stewart, Now for the favorites that are not movies like, I Love Lucy, Leave It To Beaver, Father Knows Best, The Many Loves Of Dobie Gillis, The Patty Duke Show, Fury, Rawhide, and back to movies now Anne of Green Gables, Doris Day movies, Cary Grant, on and on my list could go thanks to my curiosity there is always something old to discover :) |
