Introduction	I am not a writer. Let's just get that out in the open right away. I love to think, to debate, read and challenge the accepted wisdom, but there are so many people blogging who write so damn well, and i have no pretensions about counting myself amongst them. So I'll just share some occasional thoughts and insights (you could feasibly expect me to jot down some thoughts about politics, philosophy, cooking, life, surfing, the ocean, anthropology, religion -I am an athiest, but find religion fascinating, and do enjoy a thumping good religious debate if anyone cares to instigate one- relationships - I'm lucky enough to be living with the most wonderful woman alive and her 2 boys- literature, art, cinema... just about anything really), maybe some pictures (I do love taking photos and have fun experimenting with different photographic mediums) and maybe it'll trigger an interesting discussion or two. Maybe not as well, but that's ok.
