| Introduction | My Grams was an avid quilter and once she saw that I was interested, she taught me everything she knew! I love that quilting helps me nurture my creative, comtemplative side and teaches me patience. I learn something new on every project I undertake. I look back at some of my first quilts and cringe at how big the stitches are, etc. But I also love the obvious truth that I've gotten so much better as I go. There are some things I'm not great at (applique, curved seams, etc) but lucky for me, I LOVE practicing! |
