Introduction | A lifelong New Yorker with wanderlust, I’ve lived in New Orleans, Long Island, Boston, Connecticut, Provincetown, and now, Philadelphia where I spend my time writing adult mysteries, literary novels, short stories, YA biographies, and children’s books. I’m also a mother and grandmother (four daughters, six grandchildren—every one a gem), as well as a voracious reader, flexitarian, feminist, agnostic, cancer survivor, and poet manqué. Sometimes I like to sit down and talk, other times to shut up and walk. I love front porches, outdoor cafes, red wine, old R&B, dancing, children, seacoasts, lively arguments, acrostic puzzles, waking to sunlight, and wildflowers. I hate umbrellas, piggy corporations, winter, alarm clocks, and mean-spiritedness. |
