| Introduction | Glenda Council Beall writes and has published poetry, personal essays, memoir, and fiction. Her background is in education and she continues to teach adults through her classes at Writers Circle and at the John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown NC. She is Clay County representative for NCWN West. She was the Program Coordinator for NCWN West and also served as Netwest P.R. person for a number of years. She lives on the side of a mountain in Clay County NC with her buddy, a special dog, Rocky, and a bob-tailed cat named Tiger. She finds there are never enough hours in the day to pursue all her interests. She enjoys working with writers and poets, meeting new people, and making new friends. She thinks the most important quality a woman should look for in a husband is a sense of humor. When things looked the darkest, her husband, Barry could always make her laugh. |
