Gender Female
Occupation Writer, Critic, Academic, and Univeristy Lecturer
Location Baltimore, MD, United States
Introduction Writer, critic, academic, podcaster, and University Lecturer. My writing focus is fiction, but I read everything I can get my hands on. For credentials, see my profile.
Interests My academic scholarship is focused on Early Modern drama and modern film. My interests, however, are wide ranging and range from critical theory to fantasy, sci-fi, and history. I am an ecclectic scholar and I aim to share that experience in my reviews. I have a Masters in English Literature from the University of Alabama's Hudson Strode Program in the Renaissance, and I have taught at 6 major universities across the U.S. Subjects I have taught include British Literature, Composition, Argument, Pop Culture and Lit, Horror and Lit, Literature and Film, Adaptations, Literature from Beowulf to 1700's, College Math, Grammar, and Philosophy and Literature. I have worked on a number of publications including the Academic Journal MYTHOSPHERE which was funded by the Joseph Campbell Foundation, the Literary Journal BLACK WARRIOR REVIEW as an assistant poetry editor, and as a member of the editorial board and assistant Sports Editor for Carnegie Mellon University's award winning newspaper, THE TARTAN. I am currently teaching at three different universities, and look forward to attaining a job in the publishing industry soon.
