Introduction	With a background in classical piano, I have always had an artistic, creative spirit. I discovered my passion for jewelry design after coming across some old, chandelier crystals in my late Grandmother's house. I was struck by the beauty of each crystal and yearned to create a necklace that would keep one of the crystals close to my heart. Over the years, I began refining my techniques in metal work and was overwhelmed by the response to my designs from my friends and family. I decided to launch Blydesign in 2009 as a way to make my pieces accessible to my fans. Each piece of jewelry is carefully, handcrafted and distributed by myself in my hometown studio located in Charlotte, NC. Some of my favorite materials to work with are resin, brass, and leather. Blydesign has been featured in Vogue, Shape and several Charlotte publications. The line is currently for sale in stores and boutiques in the Southeast, as well as online.
