Introduction I'm a married teacher (Kris and Kristy...disgustingly cute, right) with two cats who loves to travel, take photos, write, play games, & read. I'm addicted to Postcrossing, television, and Dr. Pepper. I'm corny and klutzy and tend to make up my own words (i.e. Kerplode and Stressure). I love all things technology, both old and new, giving gifts, and collecting odd, unique, or funny pens and other office supplies or stationary.
Interests I'm a bit of an oddball, and I like traveling, chocolate, reading, writing, playing card and board games, amateur photography, technology - old and new, delicious smells, dessert, my husband, relaxing in an incredibly hot bubble bath, anything that makes you chuckle whether it be a good joke, television show or something just plain funny, and my cats (but not necessarily in that order).
Favorite Movies I love a good sappy movie or romantic comedy. I'll watch anything that isn't too violent, scary, or boring.
Favorite Music I like Adult Contemporary music, but, mostly, I just listen to whatever my husband has on Spatter Radio. A few of my current favorites are: Regina Spektor, Christina Perri, Ingrid Michaelson, Michael Buble, Jewel, Chantal Kreviazuk, Sara Bareilles, and Mandy Moore.
Favorite Books I love Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next series. He's a creator of nonsensical books for a nonsensical world. I also love Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series. She can really weave a fantastic tale. Of course, I must mention James Patterson, Nora Roberts, Nicholas Sparks, Mary Balogh, Mitch Albom, Scott Westerfeld, and Flannery O'Connor. Really, I just love reading. I spend a great number of hours reading, and one of my favorite places in the world is the Frisco Public Library.

Your people want to make a statue in your honor. What will it be made out of and what victory will it commemorate?

If people were to make a statue commemorating me, I'd hope that statue would be a stack of open suitcases filled with books. I think there is a traveler inside of all of us...you can travel in person or you can allow a book to transport you to another world. Either way...it's a fabulous journey.
