| Introduction | This is My American Life – it’s not as eventful or interesting as the NPR show but it could be if I can convince the laconic Ira Glass to provide the narration. I moved here from Singapore in 2007. I miss my family and it took some adjustments but I am enjoying my time now cooking, studying Spanish and lots of reading as I wait for my professional license to return to the corporate world. I started blogging for fun and I am quite happy with the way it is turning out – I have an outlet for my miscellaneous thoughts and I am building an archive of my mum’s and my mum-in-law’s recipes which everyone in our family now has easy access to. I take an inordinate amount of pictures. I use a point & shoot with macro functions. But I am still learning how to use all the functions so please bear with me while I fiddle with my camera.
