Introduction | The words of God to Job should have a prominent place in the hearts of Christians today. Secular culture shouts that each person is his own god, capable of creating his own reality –moral decisions based on what “feels” right, not what IS right. Relativism can slowly seep into our lives unless we constantly remind ourselves of who God Really Is … “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding. Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?” Somehow it’s always easier to make the right decision when we keep in perspective that God has existed forever. He created time. He called the universe into being from nothing. He is larger than the vastness of that universe and yet He knows my name… I can’t even properly flip an egg but the God who created the universe knows my name! |
