Introduction | My primary training and interest is biblical exegesis. In May of 2008 I finished a Master's Degree in theology with an emphasis on biblical exegesis. This blog is primarily a blog of biblical exegesis, although it is odd to say this because it is rare that I actually spend time examining a particular portion of the Bible. Most of the tim eI am blogging to exegete non-biblical "texts": anything from philosophy texts to current events or the evening news; these texts may be scriptures from other religious traditions, novels, and life itself. We are all involved in this sort of exegesis., the attempt to understand the issues, problems, and depth of our human life. This blog is the Theos Project. We grapple to put words to that which we cannot describe. This is what I mean by "exegesis." We explore the infinite texts of the world: the cry of a child with no clean water to drink, the awe of a desert sunset, and the grace that breathes peace into the deep fragility of our lives. |
