Introduction | After all these years what can one say in just 1200 characters? I studied in Bournemouth and my various courses covered natural history, art and design, abstract techniques, life drawing and art history. I work in watercolours, oils and acrylics. I'm English, I love painting, adore my grand children and friends (nearly all artists). Love nature, walks, all forms of the performing arts and enjoy teaching the basic skills to open the doors for others to the wonders of creation and when I paint (as my pals say) its like being a kid in the sweetshop. Colour is my passion and spontaneous energy drives me forward into new fields of endeavour year by year. The last two years craze was visiting local medieval churches and sketching for full oil paintings in the studio. Today I am trying to work on YUPO and have had fun with zentangles and even more recently have worked in pen and wash with local scenes. |
