Introduction	I am blessed to be the ezer kenegdo to Kurt, the mother of 9 wonderful children - 6 of whom are still with us. (I can't wait to meet two of them in heaven and be reunited with one - if you've read "Heaven is for Real" you understand me.) We live on a small farm in Mid-Michigan trying to live in a manner that is pleasing to God and that glorifies Him. Toward that end, when my husband challenged me to entertain the thought of homeschooling - many years ago - my initial thought was something along the lines of, "why would I do something so insane!!?!?!?" However, I decided it was something that I needed to explore . . . of course my original purpose was to prove WHY it was so insane, not to see if it was even an option. Of course, the Lord uses everything, even arrogance, to teach us. My search to prove I was right did just the opposite and proved I was completely wrong. God speaks so much on what education, which is really discipleship, should be about - not just content, but context. So . . . . here we are, 10 + years later, and my life is so completely different from anything I ever envisioned or planned . . . . and I wouldn't change it for the world!!
