| Introduction | Okay . . . I am a twenty-six year old male living in Eugene, Oregon. I recently moved here from Kansas City to attend the University's Medieval Studies Program. I love to study--currently I am working with several colleagues, from Oxford, University of Paris, University of West Michigan, and the University of Penn, on an English translation of Gregory of Nyssa's 15 homilies on the Canticle de' Canticles. This is proving to be a rigorous task--lasting quite a bit longer than anticipated; however, fun filled and exhilarating to say the least. I love peaty scotch (Laphroaig, Lagavulin, and sometimes Oban) and dark beer--I enjoy them even better with close friends. |
