| Introduction | I have always loved to cook. I learned the most about food from my grandmother who was a fantastic cook who wrote her own cookbook as soon as the personal computer came into existence. She was from Memphis and passed on her love of grits and rutabagas to me and the rest of our family. I am an English major who became a pastry chef who became a wife and then a mom. I married a chef and we have 3 kids, one dog and much to my husband's dismay, 2 cats. We love to cook, attempt to garden and are always on the look out for new food adventures. We live in Charleston, South Carolina which has a rich food culture and a long culinary heritage. |
