| Introduction | Big rack was formed in 1967 by people like Raymond Presnell,Kenneth Dobbs, Ronnie Cassell and Harry Nation. In 1969 Paul Burdette joined the club and is still an active member. He is also the president of Big Rack. Big Rack started out with 1000 acres. From 1967 to 1974 the club would change land tracts each year because they felt they had killed all the deer on that particular tract. In 1974 they started keeping the same tracts from year to year and adding to them. We now have 5,820 acres in both Crawford and Upson counties. Basically the tracts have remained the same since 1974. Camp has been on the same land for 26 years. As of 2010 the club has been in exsistance for 46 years. |
