| Introduction | Hootnonny aka Betty lives in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Western North Carolina. She is retired and spends entirely too much time on her hobbies of digital photography and post-processing; perusing flickr, blogs and tutorials on the web; reading paper books; lunching with friends; and shuttling school children. Now that the youngest is in seventh grade, she is no longer capable of helping with math! Betty has three adult children and four grandchildren, whom she lovingly refers to as granddarlings.
