Introduction Happily married to Joe ever since we said "I do" on a beach overlooking the Sea of Cortez in July 2000. SAHM to my Reedlets, Shane and Rachel...and loving it! Shane is 4 and Rachel is 3. I would love to have two more when the time is right. Did some time climbing the corporate ladder, mostly in the telecommunications industry. On again, off again student...psych major. Someday I will wrap up that degree so that I can be a Christian counselor, but I am currently committed to homeschooling my children.
Interests Camping, hiking, working out at the gym. Travel, especially to Cabo. Scrapbooking, rubber stamping, cooking, baking, canning, gardening, reading, writing and journaling. Volunteering. QT with family and friends. Good music. Interesting conversation. The great outdoors. Psychology. Politics. SoZo.
Favorite Movies The Notebook. Titanic. An American Carol. Idiocracy. Napolean Dynomite. Groundhog Day. All the Christmas classics!
Favorite Music Contemporary Christian. The 80s. Although it has taken a lifetime of exposure to say so, I now appreciate some country music, especially that from the late 60s through early 90s. I enjoy classic rock. Although I've noticed lately that all the tunes I enjoyed in high school are now on the classic rock stations and the stuff that used to be on the classic rock stations are now on the platinum stations. Light classical has become a godsend in my house as it is a great sleep cue for my Reedlets-they almost immediately pass out when it is played. Woohoo!
Favorite Books The Bible. "When People are Big and God is Small" and "Under the Overpass" are two of my most recommended reads. The Twilight series. "Same Kind of Different as Me". Currently reading "Bringing Up Girls" and still attempting to memorized the book of Romans.
