Introduction	I love to sew. So much that I get up at 4 a.m. on weekdays to make sure I get some sewing in while everyone is asleep. It seems I love to talk about sewing almost as much as I love the actual sewing, and my family is growing a bit - well, bored - with my sewing adventure tales. Thus, the blog.
Interests	Family (born into and acquired), sewing, organic gardening, chickens and eggs, hiking.
Favorite Movies	Eh. Not much into movies. Shirley Valentine always makes me laugh, though, and Evita always makes me cry. Oh - and I love Avatar. It's a visual smorgasborg.
Favorite Music	Indigo Girls, Pink (yeah, I know), Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Joan Armatrading, Lily Allen (hah!).
Favorite Books	Beloved (Toni Morrison), all the Mary Russel novels (Laurie King), anything by Mary Roach, Michael Pollans' stuff.
