If mud is dirt plus water, what is clay?
This is not the answer to the question but my audiology professor always told us we should never stick anything smaller than an elbow in our ears. So if you stick a Q-tip in your ear, the cotton is like straw, the wax in your ear is like mud and what do you get? Mud bricks. And mud bricks in your ears...no one wants that!
