| Introduction | I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Thank goodness!!! As a home educating mom of 6 kids, there was rarely an extra dime or dollar to spend on anything! I am so thankful that the Lord has given me the option of learning to make do with what I have, (and trying to make for myself what I have not!) Early in our marriage, I learned (by necessity) that cooking from scratch is cheaper than cooking prepared foods. I learned (by necessity) how to alter sewing patterns, as well as to alter used clothing to fit my hard-to-fit kids. When there was no money for what needs done, I learned (by necessity) to do-it-myself. Not everything works out like I hope, but every mistake I have made has been a lesson learned. I am hoping to share some of my lessons, tips and tricks with you in hopes that you will find some inspiration for your own journey. So join me as I tackle life by necessity! |
