| Introduction | Grew up as a studio singer, did many movie soundtracks, commercials (on and off camera, either acting or singing), backgrounds for recording artists, Disney albums, own record w/ my sister in disco era, studied music composition at Dick Grove for years, was a professional songwriter...BUT fell in love w/ Science at early age... Graduated from Occidental College in Biology, added minor in math and engineering later from other colleges and did further studies at Caltech. Worked w/ owls at Caltech, did a 19 year immersion study w/ Barn Owl named Wesley, studied close to 100 wild nests as well. |

| Favorite Music | Traditional Irish Music, Van Halen, some classical like Beethoven, some heavy metal, some funk.. but by far the best is traditional Irish music, fiddle in particular (Cait Reed, Paddy Canny, Ciaran Tourish) |

What if animals are as intelligent in their own way, and as emotionally complex and deep as we are? We may be right on the cusp of a whole new way of seeing animals and understanding them. We're finally starting to see that the intelligent life we've been searching for on other planets is living right here among us, and we have so much to learn from them!
