Introduction	Born in Australia, Raised by parents to speak and think Greek, schooled to speak English and think as an Australian. To insist no politics is discussed at the dinner table, when we are least occupied and with those closest to us is to demand ignorance of politics, and to perpetuate a meme which facilitates the unquestioned control by a ruling class. An unexamined life, is an ignorant life. I'm not University educated. I don't consider myself wiser than any, but I do keep my eyes open and am sceptical. I believe scepticism is a filter against lies. Some people live under a dictatorship; they have no influence and therefore bear no responsibility for their nation’s actions. We live in a democracy, where we have a say, and as such, like it or not, we bear some burden of responsibility for our nation’s actions. It is the citizen’s responsibility under a democracy to take action when their representative is veering off the path. I'm just a common man, trying to exercise common sense.
