Introduction This old gal with the dyed burgundy hair, no makeup, and with the fish face got to this point this because of a quick sense of humor and not giving a damn what anyone thinks. Survival of life (anyone's life) does that to all of us, and the will to live, no matter how hard it is to go on, is innate --- God given.
Interests Besides my family, of course, I love to research and learn about anything and everything. I'm especially interested in history, politics, religion, medicine, and grammar/spelling perfection. I'm extremely sensitive about the animal kingdom and use of kindness toward them; also so sensitive about my vivid memories of an idyllic childhood that it overwhelms with emotion and longing. I enjoy reading but unfortunately, rarely make time for it. I love Netflix and Amazon Prime, and I often get hooked on a series on both. I love stitching, but even more, I love collecting the stash. I love to laugh, and I love to entertain people with my writing and thinking quickly in a crowd to make them laugh. Some may think I have a weird sense of humor or that I'm crass. I admit to both, but that's just me. I would like to learn more about geography and take a course at our community college. I must have been absent in school when they taught geography! I have 4 wonderful cats, two of which are growing old, and as I grow older, I worry about how much longer I will be able to care for pets. I feel now like I would miss pets in my life. It's hard for me to think that my present little friends will someday be gone with the ones I've lost in the past.
Favorite Movies Any Robert Redford movies, Anthony Hopkins movies with him as Hannibal Lector.
Favorite Music Golden Oldies - 60s on up.
Favorite Books The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon and all books by Philippa Gregory. I'm even beginning to like fantasy and have always loved a good mystery and apocalyptic/dystopic novels.
