| Introduction | The Museum Association of New York (MANY) is a member-based professional organization that fosters healthy museums based on good governance and leadership. It brings the collective contributions and issues of museums and heritage organizations to the attention of policy makers and residents, and it works on behalf of all museums in the state to strengthen organizational capacity. MANY is focusing its programmatic efforts on standards development, leadership training and succession and, as a result, has gained regional and national recognition for its work. |
