Introduction I had all these plans to go to University of Washington, become a special ed Teacher and marry a wonderful man with 2.2 kids and a dog. Didn't quite happen that way :) But as they say, third times a charm, and I found him (his third as well). I became a nurse, and although life is looking a bit bleak right now with the firing, and loss of compensation, plus the humiliation that this all happened at work, I have love up the wazoo with my family and pets. My Husband completely supports my crafting, and is a good "extra eye" when it comes to pic placement..oh yeah, did I mention I'm from WA, and he is a good ole Southern Man, who has tamed me with his pulled pork BBQ, the man is a master!! His smoke ring is always perfect!
Interests scrapbooking, card making, photography, reading, swimming, cooking, spending time with my family, and I'm totally a "GLEEK!!!!!!!!!"
Favorite Movies *NEW FAV*, AVATAR!!!!! Mamma Mia, Muriel's Wedding, The Great Escape, The Dirty Dozen, Most 80's teen flicks, and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. Most Adam Sandler movies. Guiltiest pleasure "Bring it On" Gotta love "spirit hands"
Favorite Music 80's retro, reggae (I refuse to call it "ska"). some 70s, like a few Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, Van Halen, and of course the greatest band of all time, Styx. I can't forget the falsetto of Freddie Mercury. Some new stuff too.
Favorite Books Catcher in the Rye, To Kill a Mockingbird, Twilight series, Alex Cross series by James Patterson, Charlaine Harris, all of her books, Debbie Macomber (an old acquaintance from my Church back in WA, was there when she wrote her first romance novel..LOL, and some Nicholas Sparks tear jerkers.
