Introduction I've been actively promoting 'Foreign' beers for more years than I care to remember. I worked on the first Foreign Beer Bar at GBBF way back when it was held in The Queens Hall in Leeds. I've been one of the central figures in the growth of the Bières Sans Frontières bars at GBBF since the mid 90's. "Bières Sans Frontières is an education. If British drinkers begin to understand that the world of beers extends far beyond Lager, Stout and Bitter, perhaps they will also finally grasp the special contribution made by the great ale of Great Britain." That's what Michael Jackson said about us. I've been working at CAMRA Beer Festivals since the early 80's, and have always believed that the campaign is far more than serving beer, you have to love talking about it and encouraging people to step out of their comfort zone.
