Rachel L. Pickering
| Introduction | Born in Texas and raised in St. Louis, Rachel now makes her home in Kansas. She received her B.A. in History from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, a paralegal certificate from Roosevelt University, and later a J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Before working at the Appellate Defender Office, Rachel's interests were in intellectual property. She was a paralegal for an IP law firm, worked at Kansas State University's Research Foundation, and then clerked for an IP law firm during law school and after graduation. After completing eight years at the ADO, she moved across the street (literally) and transferred to the Third Judicial District Public Defender Office. |
